
Kitt graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2006. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Richard Potter in the Prince William County Circuit Court. This clerkship provided Kitt with unique insights into the Virginia state court that adjudicates divorces and attendant family law matters.
After her clerkship, Kitt began practicing in the family law division of Davidson & Kitzmann PLC in 2007, and remained with the firm until launching her own family law practice in 2023.
Prior to law school, Kitt earned her PhD in Philosophy from Georgetown University, and her BA from the University of Virginia.

Kim obtained her third-year practice certificate and participated in the Jeanette Lipman Children’s Defense Clinic. As part of her work in the Clinic, Kim represented juvenile clients and their families in both civil and criminal cases. Kim won the CLIO Award during her 2nd year for earning the highest grade in Introduction to Family Law, and the Cali Award during her 3rd year for receiving the highest grade in Information Privacy Law.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Kim worked in the fields of insurance and education. She earned her BA at Wake Forest University and her MA at University College London. Kim has lived in the Charlottesville area with her family since 2001.
